  • Operate up to 36 hours of the 48-hour period. contests.arrl.org

  • Phone and CW modes allowed (both mixed mode, or phone-only or CW-only). contests.arrl.org

  • Exchange: signal report + for DX stations a serial number. contests.arrl.org

  • Score: QSO-points × multipliers. Phone = 2 points/QSO; CW = 4 points/QSO. contests.arrl.org

💡 Quick Preparation Checklist

• Confirm your antenna is tuned and you’re comfortable on 28 MHz (10m).

• Choose your entry category (Single Operator, Multioperator, etc). contests.arrl.org

• Plan your operating strategy (when to CQ, when to “search & pounce”, how you manage breaks).

• Make sure your logging software supports Cabrillo format for submission. arrl.org+1

• Schedule your off-times (minimum 30 minutes each) and ensure total on-time doesn’t exceed 36 hrs. contests.arrl.org

• After the contest: Submit your log within 7 days of the end. contests.arrl.org
