As one of the founding members of the VK Contest Club, I’ve reached out via email to a select group of members who have shown continued interest and involvement in contesting over the years. Please check your inbox for an email from VKCC Admin on 2/11/2025.
The VKCC has played an important role in bringing together like-minded Australian amateur radio operators, promoting the spirit of contesting, and coordinating activities across the country. However, the club has been relatively quiet in recent years, and we believe it’s time to reinvigorate it with fresh energy and new leadership.
We are looking for a group of willing members to take on the responsibility of guiding the VKCC into the future – promoting and coordinating activities, and managing the club’s web presence (website, mailing list, and Facebook page).
At this stage, we’re simply seeking expressions of interest from members who would like to contribute or take part in this renewed direction. Once we gauge interest, we’ll move to the next stage of nominating specific roles and handing over administrative access to the relevant platforms.
