The latest round of updates to the WIA Contest champion put last years winner VK2PR Peter Richardson tied with 2012 Winner VK4SN Alan Shannon – Also on 200 points are VK1DA Andrew Davis and VK5KK David Minchin.

VK4OE Doug Friend is on 180 Points and then VK1WJ Waldis Jirgens and VK6IR Stephen Chamberlain.
This Month the VHF UHF Field DayDay and the Remembrance Day Contest in August will bring out more scoring opportunities for those chasing the title. Rounding out the year is the Oceania SSB abd CW Contests and another VHF Spring event.
At this stage it is anyone’s contest to win…the odds are shortening on the outsider from VK6 but the surprise packet could yet come from the Eastern states.
